Actions/Indications:
1. Clears heat, cools blood: heat in ying or blood level, late stage of febrile disorders,
postpartum fever, exterior wind-heat or Lu heat
2. Cools blood, promotes urination: Lin zheng – hot or painful bloody urinary dribbling
3. Eliminates heat and toxins: sore throat, toxic sores, snake bites
Contraindications:
SP/ST deficiency-cold with poor appetite and loose stool
