Wu Zhu Yu 吳茱萸 Fructus Evodiae

Dosage: 1.5-5g


1. Dispels cold, dries dampness, activates qi circulation, relieves pain: St, Lr channel
disorders – epigastric and abdominal pain, jueyin headache, cold hernia disorder,
2. Soothes LR, descends qi: acid reflux, vomiting due to Lv/St disharmony
3. Warms middle jiao, relieves diarrhea: diarrhea or dysentery due to cold and dampness
4. Directs fire downward: mouth, tongue sores, hypertension

Contraindication: yin deficient heat, not for long-term use or in large dosage. Overdose
may cause severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, visual disturbance, hair loss, headache,
dizziness, rashes, chest oppressionss heat, during preg, bleeding due to blood-heat
