DESCRIPTION
The flavonoids in passionflower are the primary constituents responsible for its relaxing effects.
Traditionally used in herbal medicine as a sleep aid (in cases of restlessness or insomnia due to mental stress).
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Take 1 teaspoon (≈ 5 ml) one to four times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
WARNINGS
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, artificial flavour or colour, or starch.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia); if symptoms persist or worsen; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
