Actions/Indications:
1. Promotes urination: edema, ascites
2. Cools blood, resolves toxicity: poisonous snakebites, stings of bees and wasps, or
tonsillitis, sores, abscesses caused by fire toxin accumulation
Contraindications: edema due to deficiency. May cause loose stool, reduced appetite,
avoid overdose
Note: generally used in unprepared or fresh form
