Description
Chol SAP‑15 contains plant sterols in a natural nonesterified form that helps in lowering total and LDL-cholesterol levels and maintaining healthy blood lipid levels. Evidence shows that LDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol concentrations can be decreased between 8 and 15% with intakes of plant sterols of 1.05 g/d. Plant sterol intake has been suggested to support immune function and elicit healthy inflammatory responses. In addition, plant sterol supplementation improves antioxidant status and mitigates the effects of carcinogens.
