DESCRIPTION
Colostrum is mother’s first milk. Our Colostrum has a high immunoglobulin content for a strong immune system. Our suppliers only ship out the colostrum after the calfs have had their required amount.
There is a wealth of literature that demonstrates the advantages of being breast-fed rather than using infant formulas. Mammalian first milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, and immune-boosting factors, along with the introduction of immune-building bacteria. This milk establishes a host of bacteria that inoculates the gastrointestinal tract to be able to ward off pathogens.
This first milk a mammal produces in the first 24-48 h after giving birth is especially rich in proteins, vitamins, sodium chloride, probiotics, immunoglobulins (Ig), and growth factors.
New Roots Herbal’s Colostrum is a standardized 30% Ig concentration from 100% pasture-fed cows, which are pesticide-, herbicide-, hormone-, and antibiotic-free. Our colostrum is low-heat processed to retain its potency, and it is ethically collected only after calves have had their requirements.
