New Roots Herbal’s Curcumin is standardized to contain 95% curcuminoids, the marker compound recognized in herbal medicine to help relieve joint inflammation.
Each capsule contains 500 mg of curcumin extract formulated with 5 mg of black pepper extract standardized to 95% piperine, the critical compound recognized to amplify the bioavailability of curcumin up to 2000%.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Take 1–3 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Joint inflammation: Take 1 capsule three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.
WARNINGS
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, or if you have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid; if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners; if you are taking any other medications or natural health products, as black pepper/piperine may alter their effectiveness. Relief of joint inflammation: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms worsen or if they persist for more than 2 weeks.
