Suggested Use
Adults: Take 1 capsule three times daily. Start with 1 capsule daily and gradually move to 3 daily, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Use the lowest efficient dose.
Duration of use: For healthy mood balance: Use for a minimum of 1 week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or drugs or supplements with serotonergic activity—these may include, but are not limited to, l‑tryptophan, S‑adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over-the-counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, antinausea medication and antimigraine medication, and monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Serotonin syndrome is a serious side effect and a consequence of excess serotonin on the central or peripheral nervous systems. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you develop at least three of the following symptoms related to serotonin syndrome: mental status changes (confusion, hypomania), agitation, myoclonus, hyperreflexia, diaphoresis, shivering, tremor, diarrhea, incoordination, and fever. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcer, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain; or if you experience skin changes. Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms develop. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for diabetes, high blood pressure, or seizures; if you are taking any other prescription medications; or if you have a hormone sensitive condition. Ensure that you are up-to-date on gynaecological exams prior to use of this product and during continued prolonged use. Do not use if you are
pregnant or breast-feeding.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have scleroderma. Do not use with alcohol.
Known adverse reactions: Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or being involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Some people may experience diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
