DESCRIPTION
Indole-3‑carbinol is a potent antioxidant which helps reduce oxidative stress exerted by free radicals. It also supports estrogen metabolism.
Indole-3‑carbinol (I3C) is the phytochemical responsible for the antioxidant properties of the family of vegetables known as Brassicaceae (formerly Cruciferae), which includes broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, and cauliflower.
Indole-3‑carbinol is an organic compound formed as a result of the action of the enzyme myrosinase with the precursor compound indole-3‑glucosinolate within these vegetables upon maceration (crushing). The antioxidant activity of indole-3‑carbinol protects cells, including their DNA, from the effects of environmental toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis.

DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Take 2 capsules once daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
WARNINGS
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications or natural health products; if you are attempting to conceive; if you have a liver disorder or symptoms of low estrogen levels (e.g. joint pain, mood changes, changes in libido, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, or irregular menstruations); to exclude the diagnosis of a serious cause of hormonal imbalance. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you develop liver-related symptoms (e.g. yellowing of the eyes and/or skin, dark urine, abdominal pain, jaundice).
Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Keep in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
