Probiotic 123 provides 2.25 billion CFU per scoop of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis to support gastrointestinal (G.I.) health. Animal and human studies have indicated that L. acidophilus supports the mucosal lining of the G.I. tract, helping to maintain healthy intestinal function. Several trials involving children have also revealed that mixed probiotic bacteria supplementation helps support G.I. health and comfort. Another study involving almost 200 children suggested that a probiotic supplement containing bifidobacteria provided support for healthy G.I. activity.

Medicinal Ingredients (perscoop (approximately 0.37 g)): Probiotic Blend 2.25 billion CFU (providing: Bifidobacterium bifidum (Bb-06) 750 million CFU, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (Bl-04) 750 million CFU, Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14) 750 million CFU). Non-medicinal Ingredients: Hypoallergenic plant cellulose.

Recommended Use: Source of Probiotics. Helps support gastrointestinal health. Could promote a favorable gut flora. Recommended Dose: Adults, Adolescents and Children (1 year and older): Take 1 to 2 scoops daily in divided doses, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Mix with apple sauce or yogurt. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
