New Roots Herbal’s Pure Pancreas is sourced from pasture-fed New Zealand lamb, and freeze-fried for freshness and potency.
The pancreas acts as a hybrid organ; it produces enzymes critical for digestion, and manufactures the hormones insulin and glucagon. Glucagon converts energy stored within the liver to glucose, and insulin allows cells to absorb glucose to fuel cellular respiration.

DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Take 1 tablet daily immediately before a meal/food or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
WARNINGS
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, or cystic fibrosis; or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes.
Known adverse reactions: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain, and/or heartburn have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner.
