New Roots Herbal has selected a 100% pure, cold-pressed essential from the fruit zests of sweet orange (Citrus × sinsensis), which invigorate a room like a freshly peeled orange. Limonene, from the monoterpene family, accounts for approximately 50% of its active ingredients. In addition to limonene, coumarins, ketones, and aldehydes contribute to its intense and pleasant citrus aroma.
Its calming, fruity, and vibrant fragrance relieves nervous tension. Mix with lemon or lime essential oil for an exotic scent, or with clove essential oil for a more comforting ambiance.
In topical use, its properties make it a good ally to nourish mature skin. A few drops added to a vegetable oil, such as sweet almond oil, will stimulate the lymphatic system and help remove toxins from your skin.
Its properties make this essential oil a prized component of natural cleaning products. Furthermore, sweet orange essential oil helps deodorize, so if you are looking to freshen up your closet or a room in your home, lightly spray with a mist of distilled water and sweet orange essential oil.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Adults: Mix with vegetable oil for topical application. Use undiluted for direct or steam inhalation. See included insert for details. Not for oral use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. For occasional use only.
WARNINGS
Cautions and warnings: Seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center in case of accidental ingestion. Consult a health‑care practitioner prior to use in case of epilepsy or asthma, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not expose treated areas to the sun for 24–48 h after application.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breast‑feeding. Do not use if you have broken, irritated, or sensitive skin.
Known adverse reactions: Discontinue use in case of nausea, dizziness, headache, or allergic reaction.
Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
