Suggested Use
Adults: Take 1 capsule two to four times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them. Use the smallest dose to control the symptoms.
Duration of use: For swelling and pain reduction: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 7 days. For the reduction of ear, nose, and throat infections, or as a mucolytic enzyme: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, or cystic fibrosis; if you have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers; if you are taking anticoagulants, anti-inflammatory agents, antibiotics, nitroglycerin, or other enzyme products; if you are having surgery; if you have diabetes or cystinuria; or if you have allergy to latex or fruits (e.g. avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato).
Contraindications: Do not take if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you are taking blood-thinning medications or sedatives; or if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.
Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn, and diarrhea have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner.
