Suggested Use
Adults: Take 2 capsules three times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take at the first sign of infection. If you are taking supplements containing zinc, calcium, iron, or copper, take this product a few hours before or after them.
Duration of use: For occasional use only. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Consult a health-care practitioner if you are taking immunosuppressants; if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, AIDS and/or HIV, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis; if you are taking antineoplastic (anticancer) agents; if you have an autoimmune disorder; if you are protease inhibitors; if you have diabetes; or if you are taking prescription medicine. Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Contraindications: Do not take if you are taking anticoagulants, blood thinners, or antiplatelet medication; or if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or trying to conceive.
Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Discontinue use if symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or dizziness appear. Do not use if you have hypersensitivity or allergies to herbs in the Lamiaceae family—such as basil, hyssop, lavender, perilla, mint, rosemary, sage, and thyme. Discontinue use if you experience gastrointestinal upset.
Important: Take 1 capsule of Ultimate Acidophilus 20 minutes before each meal, or as directed by your health-care practitioner. As the yeast territory is destroyed, it is important to reestablish friendly beneficial microorganisms (probiotics) like Ultimate Acidophilus in this territory. This guards against the reinvasion of bad bacteria. The 11‑culture Ultimate Acidophilus capsules have a protective enteric coating, which is very important because it protects the capsule from the stomach acids. The acidophilus capsule must be delivered to the small intestine in order to work. Any acidophilus capsule that does not have an enteric coating will be destroyed in the stomach by stomach acids. Take for 8 weeks for best results and supplement with Ultimate Acidophilus thereafter once or twice a day. Follow a low-yeast diet.
